Guys...you know how when Matt and Mello die...? Well, Mello's lifespan says that he was supposed to live even longer than Near, but he was killed with the death note.
Well...Matt wasn't killed with the death note, meaning that his lifespan...ran out... So whether Kira had happened or not, Matt still would've died on Jan 26th.
Hence the depressing Matt who looks like he's accepted his fate... I'm gonna go try to cheer up with crack fueled conversations and candy.
