The sickeningly sweet tone you use with me,
It's soft as red velvet crushed beneath a dead heart.
The whispers slice soundly through to my ears,
A bell chime echoing in an abandoned church like the lord himself woke the dead.

It's a sin to follow,
But who am I to know?
One who wishes not to touch that infected horror called religion and risk it slithering under her skin to poison her mind.
To bind her from thinking of her free heart.
So repent if it was possible,
But to not be of religion one cannot create themselves a sin.
